Lawlor had finished his masterpiece on the aborigines of Australia "Voices of the First Day" and this film goes into some of the fascinating concepts Lawlor reveals in that book.

Following careful deliberation Carlow's Tinryland Senior footballers and Offaly's Crinkill intermediate hurlers were selected from aspirant teams.
